Overview
The Raspberry Pi Zero W is the wireless member of the Zero family: half the size of a Model A+, but with 2.4 GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 / BLE built in. At 65 × 30 mm and only a few grams, it slips into projects where a full-size Raspberry Pi simply will not fit.
It keeps everything that made the original Pi Zero popular — a 1 GHz single-core ARM11 processor, 512 MB of RAM, mini-HDMI output, micro-USB OTG and a CSI camera connector — and adds the wireless connectivity that turns it into a genuinely useful little IoT node. Ideal for sensor nodes, wearables, retro-gaming builds, network monitors and any project that needs Linux in a very small space.
