Overview
The ESP32-WROOM-32 core development board puts Espressif's dual-core ESP32 module on a compact board with a USB Type-C connector and a Silicon Labs CP2102 USB-to-serial bridge. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are both on board, which makes it a solid default choice for almost any connected project.
Dual-core processing at up to 240 MHz leaves plenty of headroom for reading sensors, running a web server and handling wireless traffic at the same time. It works with the development environments you already know — Arduino IDE, MicroPython, ESP-IDF, PlatformIO — so there is very little to learn before you are productive.
