Overview
The Arduino UNO R4 WiFi pairs the Renesas RA4M1 microcontroller with an Espressif ESP32-S3 radio module, giving the familiar UNO form factor a serious jump in processing power and a set of peripherals the classic UNO never had.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are handled by the ESP32-S3, so cloud connectivity, remote sensors and wireless control need no add-on shield. On the board itself you also get a 12 × 8 LED matrix for instant visual feedback, a Qwiic connector for solder-free I²C sensors, CAN bus support for industrial and automotive work, and a 12-bit DAC with an operational amplifier for genuine analogue output.
It keeps the standard UNO pin layout and 5 V logic, so existing shields and accessories still fit — but now over a modern USB-C connection.
