Arduino Micro with Headers [A000053]
Product Details
Overview
The Arduino Micro squeezes a full Arduino into a board just 48 × 18 mm — small enough to sit on a breadboard and still leave room to work. It ships with pre-soldered male headers, so it plugs straight in with no assembly.
Its defining feature is the ATmega32U4, which has native USB built into the microcontroller. That means the Micro can present itself to a computer as a keyboard, mouse or other USB device, not merely as a serial port — the basis for custom input devices, macro pads and game controllers.
Key Features
- ATmega32U4 microcontroller — 16 MHz with 32 KB flash, 2.5 KB SRAM and 1 KB EEPROM
- Native USB — Acts as a USB keyboard, mouse or HID device directly, with no extra bridge chip involved
- Compact and breadboard-friendly — 48 × 18 mm with pre-soldered headers
- Plenty of I/O — 20 digital I/O pins with 7 PWM outputs and 12 analogue inputs
- Arduino IDE compatible — Programmed over micro-USB with the full Arduino library ecosystem
