BBC micro:bit V2 Starter Kit with Case and Battery Holder
Product Details
Overview
This micro:bit V2 starter kit has everything needed to start coding on day one: the official BBC micro:bit V2.2 board, a micro-USB cable to connect it to a computer, a battery holder so projects can run untethered, a quick-start guide and a frosted protective case.
The micro:bit is a small programmable computer created by the BBC to get children and young people into programming and electronics in a practical, enjoyable way. At just 4 × 5 cm it carries an Arm Cortex-M4 processor with 512 KB of flash, a 5 × 5 LED matrix, two buttons, a speaker and microphone, a touch-sensitive logo, an accelerometer, a magnetometer and a temperature sensor.
Free online editors cover every level, from MakeCode blocks to MicroPython, and there is an enormous library of free projects and lesson plans to draw on — which makes this kit a strong fit for classrooms, STEM clubs and home learning alike.
