Overview

This is the official Raspberry Pi USB-C power supply, designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Raspberry Pi 400. The Pi 4 is noticeably fussier about its supply than earlier models, and using the official adapter is the simplest way to avoid under-voltage warnings, random reboots and corrupted SD cards.

It delivers a steady 5.1 V at 3.0 A over a captive USB-C cable, with short-circuit, overcurrent and over-temperature protection built in. The wide 96–264 V AC input range covers mains standards worldwide.
